Dear Mr Jackson
Thank you for writing to Mr Titford of the UK Independence Party
As you may know, our Party policy is that Britain would be much better off
outside of the European Union and we advocate a dignified withdrawal at the
first opportunity. Therefore, our three MEPs generally abstain or vote
against EU legislation partly because it is usually very badly thought-out
and partly because we do not approve of a European institution legislating
for Britain. We do not wish to be seen to be a part of this unjust and
undemocratic system.
We will study all such proposals carefully.
